Kristina Craig

What she’s up to at BVS:

Veterinary assistant, Brown’s right hand, answerer of all questions,

Kristina has been in the veterinary field since 2016, and with BVS since May 2022. She knew from a young age that her passion would be the vet world, and she embraces all of it. She is the mother of two amazing humans, wife, and has a Dog names Charlie, Fish, Leopard Gecko and multiple Hens (and yes, they all have names) in her future she hopes to add at least 5 more species to her home. In her spare time she; bakes bread, tends to plants, drinks an ungodly amount of coffee, and creates epic Spotify playlists. Her ideal getaway is anywhere there are mountains and rivers,preferable with moss walkways.

In the world of vet med, Kristina is most passionate about preventative care and client education, and although she doesn’t have a favorite animal, she does have favorite characteristics about the animals she loves most.

Kristina keeps the clinic and trucks clean, organized and stocked, and she can wrangle a goat, catch a Macaw and flip a pig like nobody’s business. Much of the time, if you text the clinic, Kristina will be the one answering client questions about appointments, medication refills, and blood work/test results.

Kristina keeps us sane.

My name is Cole Rogers. I was born and raised in Loganville, Ga as the youngest of three children. My wife and I have two beautiful children of our own and a third on the way. I graduated from Walnut Grove High School where I was introduced to animal medicine through agriculture classes. I have been in the field for 11 years since then and have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Brown for the majority of that time. I have extensive experience working with exotics of all types including birds, reptiles, rodents, and various other creatures. I have also been a full time employee at East Metro Animal Emergency for the majority of the last 4-5 years where I honed my skills and knowledge of critical care for small animals. I’m very excited to be a part of the team that Dr. Brown has created and to continue providing the best care for animals possible.

Angelina Bellebuno

Angelina joined our team in the summer of 2022, as a 1765th career. That's an exaggeration, but not by much. She's known Dr Brown since 2008, when she had her come out to treat a sick goat. She has a herd of 18 goats outin Morgan County, all of which she has rescued and loved back to health in some way or another. She is now our resident goat husbandryexpert, and usually brings a cookie or treat forevery goat weencounter. She has learned so many things on the job, and her enthusiasm for learning how to be a great vet assistant is unmatched. Her zest for life and knowledgeare a joy to behold, and she brings a smile and hug to each of us every day every time she works.
When she's not working with us wrangling goats, she works with underprivilegedyouth in behavior correction programs to help them set goals, realize their full potential, and break generational patterns. She is alsoa certified Grief Counselor, and helps clients process, move through, and accept their grief in beautiful and meaningful ways. Her presence and words during euthanasiaappointments is always so appreciated and deeply moving.
She loves crows and vultures, reading and poetry, finding connections and meaning in the world around her, and honoring and recognizing transitions and signification. Once upon a time she was a family and lifestyle photographer, as well as a journalist, both of which help her see the beauty in life and tell the story of a life in meaningful ways. In addition to knowing that she will greet the crows on our farm call appointments, we also fully expect to learn something new about spirituality or existentialism every time she's with us.

What she’s up to at BVS:

Scheduling, billing, systems management, administrative assistant, sweeper, mopper, holiday decorator, client support

KC loves animals and people. After spending years in service industries, she showed up at BVS in March of 2022 and immediately began doing whatever it took to help grow BVS from one truck and a single clinic room to where it is today. Her patience with software is unrivaled, and she can put together anything that arrives in multiple pieces. She works like a dispatcher when both trucks are out on calls, and on days when the clinic is busy, KC will be working to check clients in and out, clean up messes that inevitably happen, and laugh with whomever she is talking with.

KC has lived in Conyers since 2020, and is mom to her teenage son, Kaden, and wife to Dennis. She has three dogs, Miya, Layla and Bubbie, and one cat, Hercules. She loves gardening, puzzles, cooking, ax throwing, dancing, traveling, eating different foods and learning about different cultures. She has been known to investigate roadkill, and she dreams of learning about taxidermy. Her favorite color is purple, and even though she didn’t come directly from college to the vet world, she graduated from DeVry with a BS in biomedical informatics.

KC keeps us on schedule and laughing.
