In this article, we are taking a look back at the the Prep Hoops National Open Championship. It was played in the Twin Cities (MN) this past weekend.

We are focusing our attention on 3ND Hoops Fam from North Dakota. PHD watched 3ND’s game against Minnesota Select 2025 Meitz.

This was the last game of the weekend for 3ND, the game before a player went down with an injury, so they played the Select game with 5 players. No one was complaining about playing time in this contest!

-Fun to see him back playing with 3ND

-Baseline drive, 1-hand bullet pass through the D to Aufforth for a triple

-Looks to be a good athlete off the bounce, quick/fast

-Finds shooters after he draws the D help

-Impressive vision & touch in transition, beautiful bounce pass

-Slash down broadway, D in his face, teardrop kiss off the window for 2 points, difficult shot

-Showed remarkable hands in transition when snagging a lofty pass, caught & scored at a high speed

-He has a rifle of an arm and is extremely accurate

-Baseline drive, lefty underhand pass to Clayton for a 3-pointer

-Passes well with both hands, intriguing left-handed accuracy & skill

-Fake the dribble handoff, slash baseline, sweet 12-foot pull-up J, I like his style

-Space-n-shoot triple, top of the key, soft & high-arcing shot, credit Blume with the assist

-Hustled back on D, quick hands to strip the ball & take away the shot attempt

-3/4 court baseline dime to Jon for a transition bucket

-Kick-out pass to Jon at the top of the key, 3-ball make

-Steal on the backside of the zone

-Inside-out past to BIG Jon for a triple

-Hustled O-board vs. bigger players, extra possession for 3ND

-Penetration, draw attention, kickout pass to Jon for 3

-Moving the ball well, found Clayton for a triple

-First score of the game for 3ND, catch-n-shoot triple

-Moves well w/o the ball, I like how he shapes up & finds a window to get the rock

-Skilled (handles & passing), clever & creative ball player

-Sees the floor well, understands where the open man will be, crisp passer

-Showed a sick hesi that went into a between-the-legs dribble to beat the D

-Changes speeds well, has a nice fake-crossover move

-Blow-by baseline drive, inside-hand score at the cup

-Covers a good amount of ground with 1st step

-Curl-cut score to start the 2nd half, used the screen well, floater mid-paint

-Baseline gash, reverse layup finish for 2

-Sly steal near half-court with quick hands

-Outstanding up-n-under move that he finished with a floater, sweet move

-Space-n-shoot triple from long range

-Dump down pass to BIG Jon into the short corner, easy assist

-Finished with an impressive 34 points & 10 rebounds!!

-Playing up an age group

-They need his size & rebounding in the zone D, especially with only 5 players this game

-Strong man post up, backed his man down, lefty scoop-finish across the rim

-Volleyball swat blocked shot

-Another blocked shot, this time he erased a J-shot from 15′

-Anticipation steal in the full-court

-Drew contact, fouled, got to the line

-Ran floor hard, rim-run & caught in traffic, fouled and back to the charity stripe

-Nice catch-n-score in transition, good hands, lefty lay-in AND1, credit Camden for the assist

-In-rhythm 3-pointer top of key, catch-n-shoot, Camden gets the assist

-Crafty post-up, spun & hooked the D, 1-handed lefty finish

-Offensive rebound, good footwork to get back to the rim, easy score

-Great patience when rejecting a shot, stayed on his feet & timed it perfectly
