Just wanted to make sure to remind you... Due to in-progress incidents and crimes being reported on Nextdoor, social media, and by email, we would like to remind our community that these platforms are not monitored 24/7. If you need to report an incident or crime, please call 703-691-2131 or 9-1-1 in an emergency. Certain crimes require immediate attention and should not be delayed by social media or email. We realize that you may feel social media is more convenient and efficient to forward a screen shot of a threat, however, if we are not actively monitoring the page, action may be delayed. Your safety is our priority. If you need us, call us. If you have a tip that does not require immediate attention, please feel free to call the Fairfax County Crime Solvers (http://fairfaxcrimesolvers.org/) ANONYMOUS tip line at 1-866-411-8477.
